Sunshine Exteriors was contracted to complete a full exterior restoration at 1173 Storage as the property prepared for new management transition. The objective was clear: refresh and restore the facility’s appearance quickly and thoroughly to elevate curb appeal and present a clean, well-maintained asset to incoming leadership and tenants.

Over the course of five days, our team executed a comprehensive exterior cleaning plan. The most labor-intensive component involved deep oxidation treatment on over 300 green storage doors. Years of sun exposure had caused significant chalking and fading. We applied specialized oxidation treatment solutions followed by detailed mechanical scrubbing to restore color depth and uniform appearance across every unit.

In addition to the door restoration, we soft washed all building exteriors using a low-pressure cleaning method designed specifically for aluminum siding. This safely removed organic growth, surface staining, and environmental buildup without causing damage to the panels.

We also pressure washed all concrete entryways and high-traffic areas, eliminating dirt, tire marks, and discoloration to create a bright, clean first impression for customers.

Complicating the schedule, the project followed immediately after a snowstorm. Despite weather delays, our team adjusted workflow and extended hours to ensure completion within the required deadline. The property was fully restored on time, delivering a noticeably refreshed and professionally maintained appearance ahead of the management transition.
